Thank you for your interest in exhibiting your work at the Wollongong Makers Market. The market is held twice a year over two big weekends at the UOW Innovation Campus, North Wollongong. Our next market dates are:
- Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November 2024, 9 am to 3 pm
The market encourages customers to buy handmade and locally produced goods. It's an all-weather market, with all artisan stalls able to be accommodated indoors.
If you draw, paint, knit, sculpt, sew, work with clay or silver, turn word or beat iron, we would love to have you sign up to our market and showcase your wares. We're also inviting local art educators to come along and promote their classes and workshops.
Stall spaces fill up quickly, so apply now. Once your spot has been confirmed, we'll share the news on social media to help promote your work. We do encourage you to attend the market on both the Friday and Saturday.
Stallholder requirements
To be accepted into this market is dependent on the following criteria:
-
Handmade: All goods must be made by yourself, as this is a makers’ market.
-
Quality: Your workmanship and the presentation of your work.
-
Location: This is a local artisan market and preference will be given to those that live in the Illawarra region.
-
Returning exhibitors: Many of the stallholders at the Wollongong Makers Market have been joining us from the very beginning.
-
Categories: We may need to say no to a quality artisan if there are already too many in that particular category e.g. jewellers.
