The Wollongong Makers Market showcases the talent of artists, artisans, craftsmiths and makers from the Illawarra and Southern Highlands. In 2020 the market will run over an entire weekend, 28 and 29 November, 8:30am to 3pm, at the Illawarra Sports Stadium in Berkeley. It's the place and the perfect place to find unique, handmade gifts of exceptional quality – just in time for Christmas.
Come along to browse over 100 stalls displaying outstanding examples of pottery, jewellery, woodwork, ceramics, silverware, fashion and knitware, artwork, cards and much more. We are also inviting local art educators to come along and promote their classes and workshops for adults and children.
Outdoors, there will be a wide range of food stalls to suit every palate.
You can also support recovery programs for threatened species of the Illawarra in partnership with the Office of Environment & Heritage's Saving our Species program, which will have an information display at the market.
